General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there I have read through your question and understand your concern. Tingling sensation in the feet can be due to a number of reasons. Most common being nerve compression.A thorough physical examination by a surgeon can help to reach a diagnosis. He may order a nerve conduction velocity test or MRI scan depending on the results of the physical examination. Another common cause of tingling sensation in feet is diabetic neuropathy due to high blood sugar. A blood sugar profile can help to rule that out. Your treatment will depend on the diagnosis. Your physician may prescribe you Gabapentin or pregablin to relieve the tingling sensation. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
