What Does Uterine Cavity Opacified Mean In A HSG Report?
HSG: what does this mean? Results-uterine cavity opacified. both tubes opacified. proximal normal, distally tubes are dilated, could reflect peritubal adhesions however spillage on both. minimal intravasation on the left contrast remain in mildly dilated distal tubes. although bilateral spillage, tubes are patent.
You have almost normal reports. Both Fallopian tubes tubes appears normal in course and caliber but there is mild dilatation of tubes distally and it may be consistent with some peritubal adhesions. However the most important factor is free spillage of contrast ,which is normal in your case. Uterine cavity appears normal. So,there shouldn't be any problem in normal pregnancy.
