What Does Uterus Scan Result Suggest?

my uterus is bulky and shows a large intramural and subserous fibroid measuring 6.7-6.6-5.5 cms involving left lateral wall distorting and myometrial echoes. 1.5-1.8 cms sized nebothian cyst noted. endometrial echo is normal thickness 5mm. now what is it?

Thanks for writing to HCM

According to USG report,uterus is enlarged in size.There is a large fibroid in the intramural and subserous region of the uterus measuring 6.7 X 6.6 X 5.5 cm involving left lateral wall.
Fibroid is benign tumour of the uterus.
Treatment of fibroid is both conservative and surgical depending upon many things like age,family is completed or not,symptoms etc.
There is nabothian cyst in cervix measuring 1.5 X 1.8 cm.It doesn't require any treatment.It is age related finding.
Endometrial thickness is normal.
You should consult gynecologist.
