What Does Vaginal Bleeding After Non-penetrative Sexual Activity Indicate?

Hello sir, Me and ny girlfriend had foreplay but we were fully dresses in jeans and trousers.after that she had blood loss or periods.what actually is that? Is it periods because her periods ended just 8-9 days ago.if not then whats the reason for blood loss? Please help

Thank you for posting your concern on HCM.
From your question I understand that she had her periods not long before this incident.Here I would like to know two things : the colour and the approximate amount of bleeding.

Based on this there are two likely causes for your case.
1)The bleeding was a dark red to brown colour.This is the most likely.It is called Residual Beeding and is fairly common and harmless.After periods a small quantity of blood remains collected in the uterus.This is then expelled during the following week.It is usually dark red in colour ,clots may be present.No treatment required as it is normal.

2)the blood was bright red.
This is caused due to minor vaginal cuts,pressure on the vaginal wall during foreplay or stretching of the hymen.This is unlikely in your case as you
In both cases the bleeding will be less and doesn't require any treatment.
