hi doctor,
I under went master health check up a week back and the doctor commented on my ECG as ubnormal. They asked me to go for an ECHO test and it turned to be normal. Then i was put in for TMT test and it was ok when compared to ECG. They said the variations in the ecg is ubnormal. The electrical supply is not proper to the lower chamber.
Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you should not worry at all since your TMT and 2D Echo are normal. ECG is baseline screening test for cardiac problems. And the result varies with so many things. Like probes, jelly, movement of the chest, coughing, wrong lead placement etc. So any abnormality in ecg should be confirmed by TMT and 2D Echo. And your both reports are normal. So no need to worry.
