Hi i'm becky i suffer from a headeche in one of my eyes, i made an x-ray and here is the report i wish you could explain it to me in a simple language and thanks in advance:1-the supratentorial ventricular system is diffusely and symmetrically ectatic this is associated with deepening of the cortical sulci and sylvianfissures involutional brain changes.
2- normal attenuation values of the cortex and white matter of both cerebral hemisphere.
3- no focal axial lesions could be detected.
4- no intra or extra axial fresh blood collections.
5- no midline shift.
6- normal posterior fossa structure.
incidentally noted,
two small ivory osteomas are seen as the right frontal sinus and the left middle ethmoid air cells the largest is 1 cm in diameter.
mid right maxillary and ethmoid sinusitis.

Hi,
thanks for using Healthcaremagic.
First of all, I think you underwent CT Scan of brain and not X-ray as X-ray will not give these details.
The report basically means that you have some atrophic changes in your brain which is common in aged people. I guess your age will be above 50 years then it should be normal and nothing to worry.
Two ivory osteomas are benign findings and again nothing to worry.
Some amount of sinusitis is there for which you can consult an ENT surgeon.
Other than that, you dont have to worry about anything.
Hope it sorts your problem.
