What Effects Does Drinking Wine Post Thyroid Surgery Have On The Health?
Hello. My father just had his thyroid removed at the age of 73. He s an alcoholic and a heavy smoker. He hasn t been home no more than 24 hours and drank a bottle of wine. As my father, I love him to death... But soon, I feel he ll truly be nothing BUT death. It scares me that this man allows his addiction to rule his life, but what are the harms when drinking after surgery?

Hello dear from my opinion I am suggesting your father should quit drinking and smoking if the wound is still fresh it will hamper it from healing quickly so if possible take him to the rehabilitation center for this addiction he is having
