oesphageal manometry , CT or
MRI reports available herewith .
* In general , following food stuffs are to be avoided for neck cracker
esophagus ( with high pressure in distal esophagus )
- large bolus of any object
- hard stuffs which require much pressure to be swallowed
- non veg stuffs , spices
* Preferable and recommended to
- chew food very thoroughly ( which will lessen the symptoms to more
than 50 % )
- drink plenty of liquids
- prefer soft , light diet
- always have small meals at regular intervals with avoiding over
eating or hurridly eating
- intermittent intake of liquids along major meals
- keep the stomach empty 20 % of satiety level during each major
meal
