Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Even though your Dad carries a pace maker, this must not always be blamed for all symptoms he presents.I would have appreciated if your told HCM the symptoms he has. However, most cardiovascular symptoms may be linked to it.If it fails, the best is to see the Doctor or his Cardiologist for immediate intervention. It may however be just due to a battery problem. It is a device that many people even Doctor if not trained on how to manipulate may face problems handling.I will suggest you see his Doctor if any signs of poor functioning. If the symptoms are serious, a trip to the ER may be necessary.
Hope this will help
Best regards
