I just found out I am 7 weeks pregnant. I am taking Atenonol for tachycardia(resting heart rate 120+) and Lisinopril for high blood pressure. The er doctor told me that both medications are not recommended while pregnant. Is this a medical reason for me to have an abortion?
Hello Welcome to Health Care Magic. it is true that Atenolol and lisinopril are not recommended while pregnant. go for substitution of medicine. there is genetic scan which is done at 13 week and 20 weeks. genetic scan exactly can tell you if any damage to fetus. wait till that time if you really want the baby. you can be sure about it by genetic scan by fetal medicine expert. Don't worry much. Stay calm. Hope this information helps you. Best wishes.
