Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Arun's Response
Hello, sad to hear about your various infections. If I am your doctor I would say you should continue your treatment. Yeast in urine may be pathogenic. I advice you to go for repeat urine testing 2-3 days. Because if it seen for second time it is advised to take anti fungal treatment. And if not seen than we consider as normal flora of vagina as contaminant. I also want to add that if you are taking a prolong antibiotics for cholecystitis it may favor growth of yeast in urinary tract. But all in one i advice you to continue your treatment and go for repeat test. If you have any other question you can ask me thanks a lot Dr. Arun Tank
