What Is A Bump On My Labia Minora?

Hi I have noticed a small smaller than a pea sized bump on my labia minora. I was having burning and itching in the same spot about 3 to 4 weeks ago and my GP said it was trauma from sexual relations with my husband but now I noticed the bump. It is painful if I squeeze it and is somewhat bothersome. I did have something similar I believe a few years back and I had to have it removed. I was wondering if there is anything I can do for it? I did try a warm compress and it hurt more. I hate to have to go through the surgery again

Hello,

This could be a simple cyst that is formed in the glands if clogged due to some reason.

I think this is now infected as you are experiencing pain and burning as well.

I want to know if you are having some other symptoms as well like fever or redness of the affected area.

I suggest you visit your doctor for a detailed checkup in order to establish a proper diagnosis and treatment as well.
