What Is Causing Chest Pressure, A Tingling Sensation In My Left Arm And Difficulty To Breath?

Hi

2 days ago I felt chest pressure and a tingling sensation down my left arm for around 5 minutes. Now, I have tightness on and off in my chest, like I can't take a deep breath and some pressure in my left arm just above my elbow.

What could be causing this?

Hi there,

Thanks for your query.

The information provided is inadequate.

However, from the available information, the problems are probably due to either, cervical sponylosis (with compression over the spinal cord); spasm of the chest, shoulder and neck muscles; or, angina due to heart disease.

I cannot comment further in the absence of additional information in as much detail as possible; presence of other diseases, age, gender, current medications if any.

Consult your doctor and apprise him of my opinion. I am certain that he will agree with me, order required tests, and- based on the reports- will prescribe suitable/modified treatment as advised.

In case of any further queries, revert back to me THROUGH DIRECT PREMIUM QUERY (Paid), addressed to me personally. You will receive- almost immediately- my response in great details.

If you find my response helpful and informative, do not forget an “excellent” (5-star rating) to my answer, to ENCOURAGE ALL doctors- engaged in social service- to render sound advice to the FREE queries.
