What Is Causing Red And Painful Sores That Bleed And How To Treat Them?

I have red and painful sores which are on my scalp, upper arms and buttocks. They are irritating rather than itchy, are painful and tend to bleed more than seems appropriate for small sores. Any ideas? Have had them before and they seem to stay for a year or more.

Hello
Thanks for your query on HCM.
That bleeds abnormally always reminds us about the presence of vascular lesion. It may be a haemangioma or angioinvasive tumor. The diagnosis can be confirmed by wide local excision of that lesion and to go for histopathological diagnosis. Consult a surgeon and take his opinion through detailed local examination and necessary investigations. Underlying immunodeficiency is another minor possibility.
Thank you.
