What Is Causing Swelling Inside Lip And Bruises On Upper Lip?

I notice that the inside of my lip felt swollen for the last 24 hours and noticed not other symptoms. Today when I checked, the inside of my upper lip is bruised. What could have caused this? I have not injured myself and am married. The only medication I take on a regular basis is Protonix.

If it is not due to trauma, you should do some investigations:
1.Complete hemogram
2.Blood coagulation profile.
Then post your reports.
