My mother age is 56 years. Today we get her chest x-ray report which is as follows 1. Lung parenchyma shows INCREASED Bronchovascular marking on lung fields on both Hemitoraces along both parahilar area. 2. Mediastinal structure appear and show normal hilar shadows on LT and RT 3. Both pleural angle appears normal. 4. Heart shadow appears Grossly Enlarged in size 5. Bony thorax shows normal physical features 6. Diaphragm appears at normal levels on both sides. Impression - Cardiomegaly + Question : What name is this disease called? What is diet for that? Any treatment available?

And, hypertension, previous heart attacks are the most common causes. Bad heart valves, heart infection are some of the many other causes.
