What Is Hypothyroidism And Can Herbal Medicine Cure This?
Hi ,
My friend is suffering from hypothyroid, is this a throid cancer or just swelling of the lymph, nodules etc.
Can this be cureable without having the need to go for an operation. Can Chinese herbal medicine or Reiki Mushroom or Lingzhi (culitvated or wild lingzhi) cure this hypothroid.

Hi,
1. Hypothyroidism is a decreased function of thyroid. It is usually treated by thyroxine hormone replacement.
2. If you have a swelling in thyroid you have to be screened for thyroid cancer- by an ultrasound neck and needle test
3. The benefits of herbal medicine depends on the cause of hypothyroidism. If you are not having normal thyroid function after 6 weeks of treatment I suggest you to change to hormone treatment which is free of side effects
