What Is Link Between ADHD And Birth Trauma?

Can someone please advise me on the link with ADHD and birth trauma/oxygen deprivation. I had a long labour which was induced via syncotin, epidual, fetal distress leading to PH Blood scalp, failure to progress , failed ventouse. Emergency delivery. Low apgar score 1 in 1 min and 4 after 5, PH score 6.78, severe meconium aspiration, seizures in first hours leading to intubation for 2 weeks. 100% oxygen and nitric oxide surfacants, blood tranfusion. CT Scan of brain at 3 weeks (nad). Has been diagnosed with moderate ADHD. Other causes potentially excluded as no family history of this disorder(extended family, never smoked or consumed drugs or alcohol .

ADHD is known to have multiple risk factors,birth asphyxia is one of them. Birth asphyxia causes hypoxic (due to lac of oxygen supply) brain injury. Hypoxic damage to the hippocampus and striatum are linked with cognitive and memory related issues. It is hypothesized to have a role in pathogenesis of autism and ADHD.
