What Is Lump In Calf That Hurts When Squeezed?
Hi, I'm female 22 yrs old, and I found a lump on my left calf, near where the fibula bone is. I'm very active person, and having a routine activities for competition(Chinese martial arts). I wonder if the lump caused by those exercises?It's painless, but started from yesterday after I squeezed it, it's getting painful(come and go), but it's more like a pinched nerve from the lump area to my foot. Could you tell me if this case is a serious problem/not? Thank you

it is best if you consult with an orthopedic surgeon. that "lump" on your left calf might just be an inflammatory reaction secondary to your strenuous activities, but it could also be a lump with an underlying pathology. a complete physical examination by your physician would be of great help. diagnostic evaluation such as an MRI might also be indicated.
