What Is Meaning Of Small Central Disc Protrusion With Associated Spondylitic Changes?
The results of my MRI states: Small central disc protrusion with associated spondylitic changes C4-C5 minimally indenting thecal sac. Abutting but not compressing cord. No intrinsic cervical cord abnormality. What exactly does this mean? I have Degenerative Disc Disease with plates & screws replacing the C5-6 to C6-7 & Fusion of L5-S1
small disc bulge means mild disc herination ,means disc prolapse , tht causing some mass effect on the thecal sac, traversing nerve roots. spondylitic means degenerative changes of spine which is common in old age.
