My father 88 has a growth on top of his eyelid. A dermotologist removed it and it keeps coming back and he had a piece tested for cancer and it is not but the dr. suggests he goes to another doctor? Who should I take him to??? He has a pacemaker and cannot have laser surgery, I was told.
A recurrent growth even after excision could have tumor cells in it. However they may be benign that would not affect the overall health of your father. I think at this age it is better to leave it alone if it does not obstruct his daily activities and vision. I am not sure if Pacemaker is contraindicated for Laser surgery. I do not know the use of Laser in this case, is it to cauterize the tumor growth and the base of it? If so you can go avoid Laser.
