What Is Resistance For Medication By The Body Called?

All of my doctors thru the years have told me my body fights medication. They have to give me what would be considered an unusually higher dost than what would be typical for my age, sex and weight. I have heard there is a name for that...could you confirm that and let me know the name of it? Thank you!

Hello. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Drug resistance is the reduction in effectiveness of a medication such as an antimicrobial or an antineoplastic in treating a disease or condition. When an organism is resistant to more than one drug, it is said to be multidrug-resistant.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
