What Is That Something Which Was 44 That Came Down To 24 Which Is Supposed To Be 18 Half Indicate?
hi my son was ammited to hospital 10months ago with a rash on his hands and feet and urine showed up +4 for protein and 10month later hie urine is still coming back the doctour said something was 44 and was down to 24 and they should be 18 half could you tell me what this means please he is 16 years old thanks katrina

It should be 18, may be your doctor talking about ESR. ESR is marker for infection.
Skin rashes with protein in urine at young age should be evaluated properly.
You have not updated other report or complain so it is difficult to suggest anything. He might be suffering from some acute problem, or nephritis, or nephrotic syndrome.
