What Is The Action And Use Of Gabapentin Tablets For Back Pain?
I am taking Tramadol HCL 50 mg tablets 3 times a day along with Aleve 220mg 3 times a day and add 1/4 tablet of Gabapentin 600 mg before bedtime for back pains. Stoping what I am doing and taking Tramadol and Aleve than laying down for 30 minutes or so seems to help me the most. I really not sure what the Gabapentin does, except I do not take it when I know I will drive. Thank you

Gabapentin is an antiseizure medication that is also used for chronic pain. Many anti seizure medications as well as medications originally intended only as antidepressants, are used for chronic pain.
It has been found to very effective particularly if the pain has a neurological origin.
