What Is The Best Available Treatment For Acid Reflux?
I have acid reflux its worse when im moving around or sitting up the only thing i can do to get rid of it is to lie down on my right side or it gets bad on my left side what can this be ? I am sick and bring up food and burning bile if i stay sitting
To treat this disease you should change your lifestyle by: 1- Eliminating coffee, alcohol, chocolate, fatty foods, acidic foods and spicy foods. 2- Losing weight. 3- Changing head position when you sleep, by elevating the head of your bed. 4- Stop smoking cigarettes (if you smoke).
I recommend Nexium(Esomeprazole) 40mg 1 pill a day(in the morning), 1 hour before you eat. You should use this medicine for 6-8 weeks.
Consult your gastroenterologist.
All the best. Dr. Behar.
