helloo Pooja,
Welcome to Health Care Magic,
alzimer is a slow progressive disease of the brain characterized by loss of memory, disturbances in reasoning, language, planning and perception.
so medicine prescribed by the doctors are very important and there is no other alternative apart from medicines you can provide to her at this age.Its better to continue the medicine prescribed by your neurosurgeon.
Apart from the medicines, give her oppurtunities to participate in social interaction, maximize activities like walking, singing which she enjoys.
Keep visiting your neurosurgeon and continue with the prescribed medicines.
hello pooja,
welcome to hcm
thanks for the query
donep is most helpful in treatment of alzheimers
this available treatments give relatively small symptomatic benefit.but not permanent cure
Behavioural and psychosocial interventions are helpful in addition to the pharmacotherapy.give her enough love, share good moments with her and try to engage her in some meaningful activities .
if she can do little bit yoga, meditation and breathing exercises then it will give some good result
take care
