What Is The Best Time To Take Fragmin Before A Flight Journey?
Hi Im 37 yr old female had a dvt a year ago and I have a 5 hour flight coming up for a holiday, iv been given 5000 units fragmin and my haematologist said to take one before I fly, so is there a time before the flight best to take it? And should I just do one injection before each flight going and coming home? Thanks

I would suggest you to take a dose of fragmin 5000 IU before flight as you cannot move around in flight.
Since drug acts for about 4 hours it is safe to take drug hour before your flight takes off in case of 4- 5 hours flight.
