My 69 year old father in law has been detected with: Adenocarcinoma(grade-II)with serosol infiltration. Tumor free surgical margins. He has hypertension but has no other complication. Remained active till now. First visit to the hospital. What's the best course of action and life expectancy please
You have not mentioned the site of the primary tumor. Since surgical resection has been done, staging investigations are required to see that the tumor has not spread to other sites.Staging investigations will again depend upon primary tumor site. Please discuss it with your treating doctor.
