What Is The Best Treatment For Atheromatous Plaque?

i am suffering from eccentric non -calcified atheromatous plaque in the left supraclinoid ICA causing moderate to severe stenosis and also severe ostial stenosis of left PCOM , BILATERAL FETAL PCAS as per the CT DSA of intra cranial arteries - report. Pl. suggest the best treatment / surgery / medication/ best neurophysician

Hi, have you had any stroke or fainting attacks or weakness of any part of the body? Firstly, you do not require any surgery for the findings of the DSA. You should have the medicines that would have been prescribed by you by your Neurologist like Ecosprin, Atorvastatin, etc to keep the plaques from growing and stabilizing the plaques. You need to maintain an ideal balanced lifestyle from hereon in order to keep the plaque from rupture and keep your blood pressure in control. Avoid all fatty foods and decrease your carbohydrates. Add moderate daily exercise to your lifestyle and you should be fine and should have no problems. Do not worry but maintain your follow up visits with your Neurologist. Take care,
