What Is The Cause And Remedy For Lump In The Neck With Voice Hoarseness ?
lump under right ear in neck and hoarseness from left side of throat ,turn head to the right and voice clears up,turn head to left and can hardly speak voice is hoarse
There could be some swelling in the region of vocal cords which is giving rise to this sort of problem. I would suggest you to consult an apt ENT specialist immediately for a complete examination of your vocal cords. Secondly, the lump below the ear seems to be a lymph node which can be secondary to the mass in the vocal cords.
Change of voice or hoarseness may be due to vocal cord pathology. It could be benign or malignant lesion.
But as you complain hoarseness from left or right side of throat is unusual . Lump under the ear may or may not associated with hoarseness of voice.
In my opinion You can take a absolute voice rest and take antireflux agent with a broad spectrum antibiotic for 5 days.
If no relief than you must see an ENT specialist for an indirect laryngeal examination and followed by voice endoscopy for a detailed laryngeal examination.
