Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be foriegn body granuloma developed due to metal of piercing material. There may be growth underneath the skin of umbilicus. There may be hypertrophy of fibers leading to granuloma. It might not heal itself. I advise to avoid repiercing the area. Intradermal steroid injection may be tried to reduce the growth. Or it may be removed Surgically under local anaesthesia. You consult dermatologist or surgeon. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
