Hi, thanks for asking form HCM.
I can understand your concern. It could be any of above - gastrointestinal or
migraine. It can be differentiated by
: If pain in abdomen first then gastrointestinal
: If headache with no nausea but vomiting only, it might be Migraine
: If abdominal cramps then gastrointestinal (GI)
: If fear from light/headcahe in half of skull/visual blurring, it might be Migraine.
As you have mentioned, she first had pain abdomen, it appears she is having GI problem. The cause could be
: Food
poisoning : Gastritis
: Gastroenteritis
You can provide her relief by following few tips
: Avoid fatty/spicy food
: Eat light food
: Drink plenty of fluids
: Bed rest
: You can give her tab Pantoprazole-
domperidone after proper prescription
: If cramps, you can give her tab
Drotaverine after proper prescription
: Avoid high finer diet if cramps are occurring
: If still no relief or she is having fever/loose stools with blood,
consult doctor.
Hope it will help her. Thanks. Take care.
