What Is The Cause For Rash With Itchiness And Redness When Treated For An Allergic Reaction?

I keep getting this irritating rash on my vagina it just itch no discharge the first time I had it a month ago I got treated for an allergic reaction . the first time I had it I had discharge burning itching and redness and swelling and I was treated at the doctor with a pill and when I went home I used a yeast infection cream a couple od days for the itching and it wen away. Unforntunely today it came back but this time its is no symptoms as last time except it itchiness and redness. what can be causing this

Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM.

Seems to be a case of recurrence of candidal vulvo-vaginitis.

I would like you to get a blood sugar test to rule out any possibility of Diabetes since raised blood sugar can lead to recurrent candidal infections.

If i was you treating doctor i would have asked you to take an oral anti-fungal like fluconazole 150mg,single dose.

A clotrimazole vaginal pessary once daily for 7 days would be sufficient to treat the episode.
