What Is The Cause For Sharp Pain In Breasts?

OK, I ve never experienced this, but just as I laid down in bed 1 hour ago to go to sleep, I ve been having repeated sharp shooting pain in the inside corner of my breast every few minutes, and it s preventing me from sleeping. I m 56 1/2 yrs old and am 1 year and 2 months into menopause so it s not due to my menstrual cycle. The only unusual thing I did today was eat lamb chili for dinner at 7 PM which had some jalapeƱo pepper, but very mild. I really have never experienced this before, and there s no lump nor swelling occurring, just sharp shooting pain. I just took Advil and am icing the area. What do you think it s from? Thanks, Jo.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be due to the gastric hyper acidity, or cervical spondylosis.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have an M.R.I. for diagnosis.
Avoid taking spices, junk foods, and oily foods. Also avoid late night dinners.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.
