What Is The Cause Of Abnormal Pap Smear And HPV Positive Test After Having Hysterectomy For Uteral Cancer?

Hi,I m 52 and had a total hystercomy when I was 24 because of uteral cancer. I just had a pap smaer that came back abnormal for the second time. last year it came out abnormal they did a vinger check and said it was fine. Just to do another pap next year. Well this year it came back abnormal again. What is going on? I also tested positve for HPV :( e

hi. just go through the previous biopsy report of hysterectomy whether cervix completely removed along with a cuff of vagina. if so, mail me the exact pap report. you must be on continuous surveillance to rule out vaginal cancer too. HPV positivity also implies risk of vaginal cancer.. but not a diagnostic test for cancer.. you need proper speculum examination and biopsy..
