What Is The Cause Of Bulging Rib Cage, constipation And Body Pains And Do They Have Some Relation?

About a year and a half ago I noticed my left rib cage at the bottom sticks out more than my left.. Almost like a lump on the bottom...my doctor guessed my rib cage is growing crooked but she didnt seem worried. I also have digestive problems, as I am constipated 24/7 for as long as I can remember. When i get stomach pains, even though i get pains in various places, it almost always hurts in that spot. Starting about 2 to 3 weeks ago I get pain in the same spot when I am working out. Do all these have some relation?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, the growth of the rib cage with out the unbearable pain is rare.
It appears you have the pain in that area of the ribs, hence you might be feeling that there is swelling as well.
The possible cause may be the gastric hyperacidity, caused by the peptic ulcer, irritant foods, etc.
I advise you to consult a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms omeprazole, domperidone, and antacid gel.
wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
