Hello
The most common sites for a salivary calculus are within the submandibular salivary gland or its duct known as Wharton's duct.
Usually the composition of salivary calculi is mainly phosphates of calcium or magnesium .
X ray shows clearly the picture of calculus.
The treatment as.
1 Stones in duct should be removed under general or local anesthesia .
2 If stone is in gland in itself , removal of gland is necessary .
In your case please consult a surgeon get a surgery as this is only an option.
Good luck.
