What Is The Cause Of Fever, Body Aches And Weakness After Being Diagnosed With Typhoid ?
hey, i m a 26 years old female. i was diagnosed with typhoid last month and was precribed oral ofloxacin for 2 weeks . my antibiotic treatment finished 3 days back but i still have low grade fever ( 99-99.5 F ) , body aches and severe weakness . is it normal ?
Dear Friend. Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I have read your query in detail. I understand your concern. 99 or 99.5 are not actually considered as fever. You might feel weakness for few days after treatment for typhoid. You may take a good health supplement for a few days. In case your fever rises to more then 100 deg Ft, you would require diagnostic workup. This is my best advice for you based on available details. If you have any further query please ask me. Stay Healthy. Dr Anshul Varshney, MD
