What Is The Cause Of Mastoiditis?

I was told that I have fluid in my mastoid air cells and in my sphenoid sinus cavity. Also that I have chronic mastoiditis and sphenoid sinusitis also the MRI showed evidence of white artifact or lesions indicating chronic migraines. What does it mean to have fluid in these areas. They placed me on a broad spectrum. Is it serious?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have mastoiditis and sphenoid sinusitis. Sinusitis is due to collection of fluid in the air space. It may be due to some infection or inflammation.

You should take anti histaminic drugs like chlorpheneremine malate or cetrizine. It decrease the secretion and help to clear the air space. If needed you should also take antibiotics accordingly.

Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
