Why The Ear Still Sticks Out After Having Mastoiditis ?

Mastoiditis of the ear i would like to know why the ear still sticks out after having mastoiditis and using the antibiotic and drops for the ear. is this normal for the ear to still be this way?

hi,
after episode of mastoditis there will be hole in tympanic membrane due to which there will be discharge. to get rid of this go for closure hole. it is done by ENT surgeon it is simple surggery where fascia behind ear used as material to close the perforation.
