hi i am 43 year old man , before 1 year my doctor had removed my right side last lower teeth which was under the gum after removing that teeth right side of my toung become test less and i lost sense also what should i to get my test and sense

Your history certaily points towards an injury to the Lingual nerve by a needle, which could have happened during the extraction procedure, which is not uncommon in extractions of teeth in the lower jaw. You see, for anesthetising a localised area for Dental extractions, LA (local anesthatic) solution, is infiltrated around the nerve supplying that particular area. Now, the Inferior Alveolar Nerve, & the Lingual Nerve, which infact both needed to be anesthetised in you case, lie to close together in the area where they can be accessed to be anesthetised by a syringe's needle, and since the area is quite small, your Lingual Nerve might have been nicked by the needle...
Usually, no treatement is required, as the body is nomally able the repair such damages by itself, however, hot fomentation and a short course of vitamin B-complex (particularly vit. B6) should help... If not then steroid therepy may be required, for which you shoul consult your Physician.

LOCAL ANESTHESIA HAS THIS ISSUE AS A COMMON SIDE EFFECT IN FEW OF THE PATIENTS , ESPECIALLY WHEN THE CASE OF OF WISDOM TOOTH EXTRACTION, WHERE A HEAVY DOSE OF LOCAL ANESTHESIA IS REQUIRED . Hello Mr. Pradeep,
The dental history provide by you gives information regarding an impacted lower 3rd molar tooth which was extracted by your dentist. The problem which you are suffering right now is due to Lingual nerve damage which was anaesthetized during surgical removal of that impacted tooth.
Since it is almost 1 yr. since then, you should again consult to him & get some nerve regeneration medication prescribed from him. Methylcobalamine supplements are needed in your case.

After reading your problem, i came to know that that you underwent right side third molar extraction by surgical intervention one year back and after that you lost you taste sensation on the right side of tongue.
For the extraction of third molar we have to give inferior alveolar nerve block along with lingual nerve block. Lingual nerve is the nerve which supplies the tongue and it is bilateral. if we anesthetize one side, half of the tongue get numbness.
Same is the problem with you, during the anesthesia or during the surgery, the lingual nerve is damaged either by syringe or by surgical intervention, that's why the numbness is persisting till date.
Our body has superb nerve regeneration mechanism so you need not to worry about it. Nerve regeneration will take time but it will happen. you can take medication like tab nerve-up available in the market to boost the regeneration of nerve.

Sorry to see you suffering from past 1 year. This numbness & lack of taste is due to injury to your right side lingual nerve. But nerves have inbuilt capacity to regenerate itself. Are you suffering from diabetes or any other chronic disease? A needle damage must have repaired within few weeks to maximum 6 months, but in your case its not showing any sign of healing over 1 year of time. I think the injury was severe & can be due to slipping of extraction instruments into the pterygomandibular space. Consult a oral & maxillofacial surgeon.

I suggest you to take rest , avoid stress, take tab neurobion forte.
Visit the dentist if condition worsens.

Local anesthetic solutions are injected to block the lingual nerve to sedate the area , in your case i suspect some injury to the lingual nerve supplying to tongue which is rare but possible during the oral surgeris.
You do not need any treatment in specific as the nerve fibres regenerate themselves with time.
Usually it take a little longer for the nerve fibres to regenerate depending on the individual body immunity.
so do not worry the symptoms will subside with time . you may start with a course of multivitamins to help out .

From your history it seems that your lingual nerve has been injured by the needle, while giving local anesthetic injection. This kind of injury is not uncommon and usually cured by itself but takes time because the nerve tissue takes long time to heal. You have to be patient. A short term steroid treatment is sometimes recommended. For that you have to consult to your local doctor.

hi welcome to hcm. see at the time of tooth extraction your doc give local anesthesia so may be because of these you feel senseless at that side .if it feel long then concern your dentist for that.
