What Is The Cause Of Pain With Blisters On The Right Index Finger?

I have a burning pain (lasts about 5 seconds) on my right index finger only, no other part of my hand hurts. Only on one side. Pain comes and goes and does not appear to be related to the use of my finger. Sx has lasted about 2 weeks. Today I can see three tiny blisters (in a row) on the surface of the skin where the pain occurs. I am wondering if it is a mild case of shingles. I am female; 55 years-old.

Hi,

You may be right. It may be shingles. However, consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. I would recommend you to take antiviral like acyclovir 800 mg thrice a day for two weeks. Take pain killer like ketorolac tab thrice a day. Apply silver sulfadiazine cream cream on the lesions. Take rest for a week.

Hope this helps.
