Dear Sir, good morning. I m not sure if I should be concerned about this or not but since i gave up active sport some c.5-years ago, I seem to continually produce a clear, gel-like saliva in my mouth/throat, even during periods without any symptoms of a common cold or influenza. It may be conicidence that this has occured since I finished active sports (due to a chronic groin problem), but it is a fact that it is occurring. Sometimes it necessitates me coughing-out the gel as I can feel its effect on my chest . Can you therefore advise what it is, should I be concerned, and is there any remedy that can remove or alleviate the symptoms? Your earliest advice would be very much appreciated. Kind Regards, Barry Turner
