General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is quite common among young females and it is due to minor hormonal changes.

As a first line management you can take drugs like mefenemic acid( meftal is a popular brand and available over the counter) for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
