What Is The Cause Of Stomach Pain?

So today I am very sick I have sore throat, fever and coughing. So I decided to take and ibuprofen I know have terrible stomach pains and it doesn't hurt when I inhale air but the it starts hurting. I also can't go poop. I don't know if its appendicitis or constipation. Please Help

Welcome to healthcare magic

I have read your query and understand your concern,in my opinion you are suffering from viral fever which is suggested by the symptoms like fever,sore throat and cough.You have taken tab.ibuprofen for it which increases the acid production in stomach leading to stomach pain,burning sensation.I advice you to take an antacid like tab.pantoprazole for relief from acidity on empty stomach..In such cases I usually suggest my patients:

1. Drink warm water and do gargling by mixing warm water with salt 3-4 times a day ,if throat pain persists you can buy tantum gargles(combination of antiseptic and anesthetic)/ betadine gargles.

2. Avoid unhealthy,oily and cold foodstuffs.

3. Eat well to avoid feeling weak and to improve your immunity.

4 .Steam inhalation 2-3 times a day.

5. Antibiotic like tab.Augmentin for 5 days with an antacid like tab.pantoprazole to avoid acidity due to the antibiotic.

6.Continue taking tab.Ibuprofen for reducing fever but along with an antacid.
