Hi.... I have a question. Last month I had a rash that itched on my left side. Well it went away on its own. On Saturday I got a new tattoo. I started getting a red streak up my arm . do I went to the ER . I have Cellulitis. Im on Cephalexin 500mg 4 x a day for 10 days. Now ive been on meds for 4 ddaysand have been having headaches on and off and slight temps which im taking ib probin. On one srea I have a lil yellow blister it hurts to touch. Just wondering whats going on.
Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe it appears to be the filarial infection, when you used the cefalexin,it would have subsided, and there might have been recurance. I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have a mid night smear testing for micro filaria. its presence indicates the filarial infection, but abscence doesn't exclude the possibility. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin,ornidazole, di ethyl carbamazipine citrate, and diclofenac sodium. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
