What Is The Chest Pain After Got Hurt?

About a week and a half ago I was wrestling around with a friend. I got pinned down by my friend's knee and have had chest pain since. It hurts to breath, laugh as well as cough. Sometimes it hurts to move. I'm not sure if this is a muscle issue, bone issue, or lung issue. Should I see my doctor?

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
It might be soft tissue injury or fracture rib.
Without X-ray, it is difficult to differentiate a fracture from others. I suggest you to consult an orthopaedician nearby for a detailed examination. You may get the X-ray of the area affected under his/her guidance.
In the interim, take anti-inflammatory drug like motrin to reduce pain and inflammation. Avoid lifting and rest well.

I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
