What Is The Dark Red Stringy Stuff Throwing Up With Iron Taste In Mouth?
i am throwing up dark red, kind of stringy stuff. my mouth tastes like iron. what is it? i did not eat/drink anything that color. also, what does it mean if i have a cut that is open, but not leaking any fluid however has little red dots around it and smells weird. it isn t discoloured, either.
I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.
Your symptoms are related to stomach hemorrhage. You should avoid coffee, milk, alcoholic drinks, spicy and fried foods from your diet in order to avoid hemorrhage.
You need the following tests to determine the diagnosis: 1. Fibrogastroendoscopy. 2. Abdominal ultrasound. 3. Liver function test. 4. Complete blood count. 5. Urine test.
The results of these tests will determine the diagnosis and treatment.
Consult your gastroenterologist.
I hope this information is helpful.
I wish you fast and healthy recovery. Dr. Behar.
