What Is The Diagnosis If I Have Dry Throat, Coughing And Congestion?

Suffering from coughing since last 1week. Throat is dry. No wet cough coming while coughing. Severe coughing after lying down and also changing side to another. Doctor prescribed Cheston plus but no relief only drowsiness. Changed medicine to asthalin. Get only temporary relief.coughing starts after 3 hours. No fever. No other cold or headache symptoms. Feels like cough stuck inside lungs. Severe coughing if exhaled deeply.
Kindly suggest diagnosis and medicine.

hi, it seems you are suffering from allergic cough resulting in bronchospasm. try an antihistamine like cetrizine 10 mg along with deriphylline 300 mg twice dialy. Hope this helped.
