What Is The Difference Between Normal Period An Abortion.

I m 26 years old, married and trying to get pregnant . Last month i got my period on time but there s sone meat like tissue discharge from my vagina and my period time was short n didn t flow so well n have mild cramping, headache n nausea before period.but the day before of the incident,I saw brown spotting and i didn t have my period like for my entire life.is it Im aborted or it s just normal period? Because a week after that I undergone the ultrasound scan ,the doctor said my uterus didn t swell at all... Please reply my message if this is called abortion .thanks

The only way to know that is if your pregnancy test showed positive.Its not possible to tell by ultrasound because its too early.It does happen quite often when the spontaneous abortion occurs even before the woman knows she's pregnant but only a positive test will determine that.However,now its too late to determine if this happened last month.
